Day 1: Arrive in Costa Rica
Our day starts with travel and prep for our Costa Rica program.

Day 2: Native Culture & Turtle Conservation
Culture and science blended to provide amazing adventures.

Day 3: STEM Field Work - Genetics & Farming
Our hands on curriculum brings STEM to life and learning fun.

Day 4: STEM Field Work - Renewable Energy
Costa Rica runs on 100% renewable energy and we investigate how!
- natures best energy through engineering with ICE

- meet-up and pizza party with youth from the neighborhood
Day 5: STEM Field Work - Rain Forest Flora & Fauna
Making a difference can mean a world of opportunities.
- Rainforest hike and discovery
- Coco farms and the Science of Chocolate

Day 6: Oceans Alive and Youth-to-Youth Community Engagement
Spend the day exploring the Pacific Ocean, and ways to protect our waterways.
- offshore excursion with marine biologist
- culture and conservation talks with local school or community center
Day 7: Youth to Youth Exchange & Adventures
Youth to Youth exchange continues with a final day with new family and friends.
- Zip Lining at the Congo Trail
- Have lunch in Playas del Coco
- Dinner with a host family in the Barrio (neighborhood) of San Martin.
Day 8: Depart for home
Itinerary: Costa Rica Language & Culture
Each day includes 2-3 Hours of Spanish Lessons for Levels 1&2/3 & Conversation. Practice and assessments made in advance during pre trip workshops.

After Spanish class, our next adventure is a visit to Nosara community service project and Spanish practice.

A day off to wonder, explore and practice Spanish!

Day 1: Arrive in Costa Rica

Day 2: Community Service & Cultures of Santa Cruz
Day two will begin a week long service project to make a difference in the community of Playas del Coco.

Day 3: Community Service & Nature
We will continue the Playas del Coco project followed by exploration of nature and towns.

Day 4: Rincon de La Viaje
Everyone gets a day off to explore the rainforest of Costa Rica at Rincon de la Vieja
