DAY 5: Transforming Natural Power into Energy

Did you know Costa Rica runs on 100% renewable energy?

Our STEM Costa Rica Global Trekkers got the chance to experience Miravalles Volcano and all that it gives us in terms of energy (geothermal, sun, wind and hydro). Miravalles Volcano is also home to active craters with mud baths, saunas and hot springs (the good life)! We ended our day at the Liberia Festival celebrating the 25th of July - Pura Vida!
