Smells Be Gone

I am very sensitive to smells, so every now and then when I am traveling, I encounter an unpleasant smell; however, I have learned to combat “challenging” smells using aromatherapy. You don’t have to be an expert in aromatherapy- just know what you like and the medicinal properties.

Organic oils can be found online, at the beauty supply store, or even in little trio packages at TJ Maxx. Many common scents include tea tree, lavender, vanilla, peppermint, rose and eucalyptus. With a simple google search, you can find out exactly what each oil's medicinal properties. In addition to smelling good, many of these oils can also be used as healing solutions.

Here are a few tips I us when traveling to get rid of bad smells using organic oils.

Rental Cars:

I use I cotton ball or two with about 10 drops of peppermint - fresh and a alert. Lemon or grapefruit as well.

Accommodations:

Lavender, ylang ylang and rose

Buy small bottles and one atomizer/oil diffuser
